Individual event:

The NZ Pound4Pound Postal Competition is a two part competition. The first, is a series of workouts released online over a three week period, called the Postal. These workouts are released on the official New Zealand Pound4Pound website, Competitors must complete each workout and have their score submitted successfully to be ranked on the NZPound4Pound Postal Leader board. The top qualifying individuals in each category are then invited to the Finals event (the second part of the competition).

Competitors who weigh more than 90kg (males) or 65kg (females) have the option to enter the Open category or the weight restricted categories. The weighted grades are essentially a ‘scaled’ division. ‘Open grade’ competitors should enter in the ‘Open’ men’s or woman’s divisions respectively.

Workout weights are calculated on participants body weight. All participants are to be weighed prior to commencement of the postal, but within one week of Workout 1 being performed. This will be the weight used for the duration of the Postal competition.

Three workouts over three weeks:

In 2017, workouts will be released at 1200hrs each Monday and are to be submitted to no later than 1700hrs the same Saturday. Workouts are released weekly for three weeks starting Monday August 28th, 2017.

Competition Finals

The top 20 athletes from the Open grades and top 10 from the weighted grades will be invited to compete at a finals competition held at CrossFit Taurus on the 7th of October. There will NOT be a finals event held for the Masters category.
